How do I add parts to an ILT Session?

This article provides guidance on adding parts to an ILT session. Create Session after you create the Event.

 

ILT > MANAGE EVENTS & SESSIONS > Search for Event > Select VIEW SESSIONS > CREATE NEW SESSION

SCHEDULE WIZARD

  1. Select when the session will occur
  2. DURATION: Enter Start Date

Select NEXT

PARTS SCHEDULE

EDIT PART

  1. NAME: Enter Part Name (Required)
  2. DESCRIPTION: Enter Description (Not Required)
  3. LOCATION: (Required) Select on the flyout window and select the Location for your district.
  4. ADD INSTRUCTOR: (Not Required)

DATE AND TIME

  1. Enter START DATE and END DATE
  2. Enter START TIME and END TIME

PART BREAK

  • Only add Part Break if you do not want break to be included in total Training Hours.

PART OCCURRENCE

  • Select the applicable occurrence and start date, if needed, or leave the defaults as is.

Select SAVE PART if only one part for this Session.

Select SAVE & ADD NEW PART if multiple parts for this Session.

You may consider adding parts to a session if the session is being held over several days. For example, the session is being held on Friday all day and Monday all day. You want to mark completion for users who complete 2 of 2 parts or 1 of 2 parts.

  1. Repeat PARTS SCHEDULE steps above if adding additional parts. 
  2. Select SAVE PART 
  3. You can select ADD PART if you want to add additional parts.
  4. Select NEXT

5. REGISTRATION: Enter how many parts users need to complete to receive completion.

6. Select SAVE
